PHYSIOTHERAPIST LED WATER TREADMILL SESSIONS - 2ND NOVEMBER 2023

Join Antonia Bealby from Equine Athletes Veterinary Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Honington Grange Wellness & Rehabilitation for physiotherapist-led water treadmill sessions for your horse.

Honington Grange are a Wellness and Rehabilitation facility with world-class facilities which enable successful rehabilitation and high-level maintenance of horses from all levels and disciplines.

Sessions include:

  • Static and Dynamic assessment of your horse and their movement pattern pre-treadmill session

  • Discussion of veterinary history, aims and goals from water treadmill use

  • A bespoke water treadmill session with physiotherapist support throughout

  • Notes to take away for future sessions

The first available date will be Thursday 2nd November, if you would like to book a session but cannot make this date, please get in touch as we can facilitate other dates.

BITTING CLINIC - 3RD OCTOBER 2023

We are delighted to be welcoming LANTRA qualified and fully insured Bit & Bridle Fitter, Grace Wallace, to Honington Grange this October.

Grace will be able to assess the conformation of the horse’s mouth, and listen to any concerns or difficulties you may be having. She will then suggest a range of bits to try. You will be able to ride in a wide variety of bits and/or bridles here at Honington Grange until you find one that is suitable. You may then purchase a bit from Grace should you choose to.

Sessions will be between 1h30 and 2 hours, and will be £85 per session.

21st & 22nd FEBRUARY 2023 - DEE SO’OIALO

Dee will be offering three different sessions on the clinic day; Ridden Biomechanics using video analysis and EQ Bands; Rider or Equine Soft Tissue initial consultation and Rider strength and conditioning (S&C).

Founder of the Dynamic Performance Hub and EQ Bands, Dee So’oialo, a specialist in rider and equine soft tissue, biomechanics and strength and conditioning, works with some of the worlds leading horse and rider combinations. An FEI Accredited Therapist and one of only twenty in the UK qualified in equine fascial manipulation. Dee works with both athletes to promote optimal performance by looking at the whole picture and combining performance analysis with her work.

All packages will incorporate sessions with Dee alongside beneficial therapy sessions for horse and rider provided by Honington Grange Wellness and Rehabilitation.

We have been given the opportunity to hold an equine water treadmill clinic at the beautiful Honington Grange just near Grantham.

These sessions are run by professionals that are fully trained.

TUESDAY 21ST MARCH - LEVEL GAITS CLINIC

Level Gaits and Honington Grange Wellness & Rehabilitation are working to give your horse a work out to increase suppleness, cardiovascular, help build muscle, tone and improve overall well being. Using Honington Grange state of the art facilities.Along side the benefits of post exercise massage, Increasing and improving circulation, Enhance muscle tone, Relax muscle spasm, Prevent and relieve adhesions, Increase the range of movement & Aid recovery

All in the one location.

Horse will receive approx 30 minutes on the Equine water treadmill, by fully trained staff.

Water Treadmills are a great way to enhance suppleness, stride length, increase cardio-vascular fitness and help build muscle tone, core strength and overall wellbeing. They give the horse a highly effective full body workout.

Followed by a Post Equine Sports Massage session approximately 1hr under solarium lights.
